Evaluating

Did you like what you tasted? Why? Was there something particular about it, or was it just really yummy? The point of keeping a log of your tastings is so that you will remember what you liked. You may also see yourself leaning towards a particular type or style, or even, towards a specific brand.

Tip

Brands in Champagne are extremely consistent. Say you discover that you favor Bollinger. Well, two, four, six, or eight years from now, odds are that you’ll have the same experience with the brand. It becomes like an old, reliable friend.
