Question
My parents taught us never to discuss sex,
politics and religion in business or social gatherings. Is that still
current? |
 |
Answer
I am sure your parents said that because
people have been known to become obnoxious when those topics are
discussed. Those are not subjects I would use to begin a conversation
with, but politics, especially during an election year, can promote lively
discussions. Religion has its place also. Sharing information about
different rituals and holidays is a learning experience.
