Cavemen with Great Skin

Soil makeup and, by the way, micro-climates (remember the hot sun and the shade?) determine the subtle differences between each cru (village) and influences the characteristics of individual wines. This chalk subsoil extends down hundreds of feet and provides ideal cellars for storing the wines of Champagne at a constant temperature and humidity. These caves or crayeres are mostly located under the cities of Reims, Epernay, Ay and Châlon-sur-Marne.

Tip

I’ve observed from my Intergalactic Observation Station that Earthling specimens who work in these caves all day, every day, have very few wrinkles on their dewy skin.
