terminology If you use specialized terminology in your workplace and language is a communication barrier, we can create a customized interpreter for your unique need. We have created customized interpreters for customer service agents at a major international airport, sheet metal workers in the heating and cooling industry and retail employees in a major department store and more. You only need to identify the 100 most significant words that you use (action and target words) and the important types of information that you communicate, such as weather, time, colors, sizes, etc. With that input we can create a specialized interpreter for you. We can do any language pair you want such as Spanish - English, French - English, Japanese - English, Spanish - Japanese. We also can design interpreters that are in multiple languages. We have created interpreters with as many as seven languages. Fewer words and pictures are available on multiple language interpreters because of the space required for the additional languages. Give us a copy of your logo and we will place it on the interpreter. The WorkplaceLanguage.com logo will not appear of the interpreter. The Process for Creating a Customized Interpreter The process is simple. Download this Word file with the instructions and input form. The form helps you to identify the inputs for the customized interpreter. Fax (404-504-0201) or email the input form to us and we will begin. First, we take your word list and convert it to the target language. We will send the translated word list to you for your approval. This is important because in most languages more than one word may be used for an action or target. After your approval of the word list, we create the icons for the interpreter and design the layout. We will send to you a pre-printing approval copy of the final interpreter. After we make your changes and gain your final approval, we produce your interpreter order. The whole process normally takes approximately four weeks. Customized interpreter prices include all design, production and U.S. shipping costs.
Ouch! Too much money? Customized interpreters require that we develop the terminology, translate the words, create the icons and produce the interpreter. Maybe your need does not require the quantities listed or you just do not want to spend that much money. If so, tell us what you want.
